How can I create an account and book into classes?
We use the MINDBODY booking system. You can download and book either via the MINDBODY App for iPhone and Android, or through our website (which links to the MINDBODY system). Once you’re logged in you can make purchases, book, waitlist, reschedule or cancel your classes as well as view your account details, schedule and history.
I’m new to Pilates, where should I start?
Our Total Body Pilates class is perfect for newbies. It is an open, all level class, so you can take it at your own pace and everything can be modified to work for you. Remember, we’re all just practicing and we were all new once.
What do I need to know to prepare for my class?
- Wear something comfortableBring your own water bottle as we have filtered water available. We do not supply plastic bottles or cups.
- Bring a towel if you get sweaty.
- Try not to eat a big meal 1.5 hours before class
- We have change rooms and WC on site, but no showers
What is the Good Times studio etiquette?
- Check in with the teacher or at reception before each class
- Arrive at least ten minutes before class as late admission is discouraged and empty spaces will be given to walk-ins
- Other than water and towel, please leave all personal belongings in the reception area
- Give everything a go! The only time you can do it wrong is when you don’t try
- Smile often.
What if I have an injury or feel unwell?
If you have an injury please get the all clear from your doctor before attending our classes. Let the teacher know of any injuries, illnesses, pathologies or pregnancies before class. Listen to your body and let your teacher know if you need a modification. If you have a cold or flu please refrain from classes until you’re well.
How do I purchase a Gift Card and redeem?
You can buy Good Times Gift Cards online through MINDBODY and have them delivered to your friends and family via email. Go to 'Online Store' > 'Gift Cards' select the Class Pack or enter a Custom Amount, enter the recipients details and make purchase. To redeem, log in or create an account on MINDBODY. At checkout enter the Gift Card ID and the dollar amount will be deducted from your shopping cart.
How often should I come to Pilates?
We're huge advocates for any movement being better than no movement at all, but 2-3 classes a week is a good starting point when you’re new to Pilates practice, and you can build up to 5-6 classes per week. Once you’re feeling relatively competent, we suggest taking a mix of class styles.
What is your late cancellation and no-show policy?
If you can no longer come to class, cancel yourself out via the MINDBODY app or through MINDBODY online. Early cancellations 9+ hours before class starting will not be charged. Cancellations and/or no-shows -9 hours before class starting will result in forfeiting that visit. We won't accept cancelations via email or phone.
We get that life happens! But, to make it fair and easy for all members of the Good Times community please do cancel yourself from the class before it starts rather than just not rocking up.
What if a class is full/has a waitlist?
When a class is full you can join the waitlist and be notified via email and/or text message when you have been added to the class. Please respond to the email or text especially if you can’t make it as no-shows will result in forfeiting that visit. Always jump on a waitlist, you’ll most likely get in!
